The Superior series was designed for professionals. With the Superior knife series, Friedr. Dick has succeeded in combining a modern knife in form and functionality with a traditional handle design with three rivets. The result is a perfectly shaped classic of exceptional quality.

The steel from the blade to the handle ensures a high degree of stability. It consists of a high-quality X50CrMoV15 alloy that ensures a durable edge with appropriate strength and high corrosion resistance. The ball grinding creates small air pockets that prevent food from sticking to the knife blade, particularly useful when cutting fatty or wet ingredients.

About the Salmon Knife

A salmon knife is specially developed for cutting salmon and other fish. It has a long and narrow blade that makes it easy to cut thin slices of the fish. A good salmon knife also has a ball point on the blade, which makes it easier for the fish to escape from the knife blade.

Maintenance

The knives are easy to maintain and can withstand steam up to 130°C, but we recommend washing them by hand.

All knives deserve special care and attention when it comes to maintenance. Ideally, you should clean the knife immediately after use with mild soapy water and then rinse and dry it with a soft cloth.
